Barrelhouse is a Dutch blues band that was founded in 1974.[1] The band’s best-known song is Beware. History Barrelhouse has been around since 1974. The self-titled debut album was released in 1975. Five more albums followed, including the live album Hard To Cover, which was recorded at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. The band split up in the early 1980s. In 1993 new performances started with the original line-up. New CDs with new work were recorded. Their latest CD “Almost There“ was released in September 2016 and awarded an Edison in June 2017; the public chose this from eight nominated CDs. In 2019, Barrelhouse existed for 45 years, reason for Munich Records/V2 to release all Barrelhouse albums on CD: The Complete Album Collection.
