It’s hard to believe this clip is over 42 years old. ’Israel’ was written by the band while on tour in the autumn of 1980 as their idea of a Christmas single This live performance of the song comes from the BBC programme ’Something Else’ and was originally transmitted on December 15th of that year. For this remaster, I’ve upscaled the picture to HD and given the original audio a bit more bass emphasis. I hope you like it.
