Support Morgaine on Patreon: Support Lois on Patreon: Hi, and welcome to this week’s watercolour tutorial from Morgaine! Today I’m painting this lovely serene boat scene for you, using watercolour. I’m painting on Saunders Waterford hot press paper today, size a quarter imperial, or 28cm x 38cm. I’m using a limited palette of four colours: Payne’s Grey, Raw Sienna, Lamp Black, and Light Red. The brushes I use are a Daler Rowney 2“ flat wash brush; a Da Vinci Colineo flat size 12 and liner size 4; a Pro Arte miniature brush size 4/0; and my Pro Arte Sword liner size Small.
