I AM WHO AND WHAT I AM (Sufi Path)

Principles of Sufism 1) There are as many ways to reach Allah as there are individuals. And all paths to Allah involve outer service and inner transformation. 2) Sufi practice is aimed at bringing about the cleansing and awakening of the heart. Truth cannot be understood by the head alone; it requires the intelligence of an awakened heart. 3) The heart is a divine temple, the house of the divine spark which is within each of us. When we truly understand this truth, we will treat everyone with compassion and kindness, and dedicate ourselves to serving Allah through serving others. 4) A teacher is essential on this path. True inner transformation requires a guide. A Sufi teacher is like a physician, who has the training, knowledge, and remedies to treat our inner illnesses.
