Mexico has cut diplomatic ties with Ecuador after police stormed into its embassy in Quito to arrest former Ecuadorian Vice-President Jorge Glas. The Ecuadorian government has ordered Mexico’s ambassador to leave, declaring her a “persona non grata”.
