The papers are then sold to the desert soldiers. “The Egyptian Gazette“ is the name of the paper as we look over soldier’s shoulder. One is delivered to an officer’s tent. M/S of captured Stuka dive-bomber, various shots of British soldiers examining it. Various shots as they paint British markings on before it is flown back to British base. M/S of soldiers lined up with dogs. Various shots as they are paraded around a table. M/S as the ’judges’ look at them trying to determine what breed they are. One soldier looks down and sees his dog has escaped from its lead, he whistles and we see the little dog peeping out from behind a tin.
