19 year old Andrea in her Pizza Express Jazz Club debut in London, 1st October, 2014, with the Andrea Motis / Joan Chamorro Quintet. Andrea first attracted Joan’s attention as a singer, trumpeter and saxophonist with Barcelona’s youth collective San Andreu Jazz Band. Joan plays contrabass and tenor sax, Ignasi Terraza is on piano, Josep Traver, guitar and Esteve Pi, drums. SEE ALSO: There are concerns that jazz is dying.
