At UN, Mexico criticizes US for fueling drug violence with weapons trafficking

While US politicians threaten to invade, Mexico used the United Nations General Assembly to call on Washington to control the rampant trafficking of guns, which is fueling cartel violence. Mexico also reaffirmed its commitment to the Global South and pledged to rejoin the G77 China, while condemning neoliberal economic dogma.
