Tropical storm Agaton hits the Philippines! Crazy wind and huge waves! Storm Megi

On Sunday morning, tropical storm Agaton (international name Megi) hit the central part of the Philippines. The wind speed was about 80 km/h with gusts up to 110 km/h. The State Weather Bureau said the typhoon is slowly moving west along the province of Eastern Samar. But a number of southern provinces on the main island of Luzon have also been hit by storm Agaton and are already flooded with torrential rains. The State Weather Bureau has raised alert levels in several central and southern areas of the Philippines. Authorities urged residents to be vigilant, warning of floods, landslides and strong winds. Also in coastal areas there are large waves, which is risky for most ships. To date, there is no information about the victims and damage caused.
