Prince Philip’s Hearse And Carriage Arrive in Windsor Ahead of His Funeral

Prince Philip’s favourite driving carriage and his Land Rover hearse arrived ahead of his funeral procession on Saturday. The carriage was pulled by the Duke’s two black Fell ponies, and was brought in to stand in the castle’s quadrangle, ahead of the funeral procession. The custom-built Land Rover Defender hearse, designed by Prince Philip himself, was driven into the quadrangle where it stopped outside the Equerries’ entrance.
