Eurovision 1986 - Belgium - Sandra Kim “J’Aime La Vie“

13 year old Sandra Kim swept to victory in the 1986 Eurovision Song Contest, with the song “J’Aime La Vie“. Scoring 176 points Sandra recorded the first and too date only win for Belgium. The top three songs in 1986 were all sung in french, with Switzerland finishing 2nd with “Pas Pour Moi“ and Luxembourg in 3rd with “L’Amour De Ma Vie“. Belgium has one of the worst records in the contest having finished last eight times and they have sung twice in an imaginery language (2003, 2008)
