I’ve become so numb [ Kiara/Spirit ( Family ) ] Part 1

Cub simba = Kiara Full explanation: - Kiara and her mother are out one day. Her mother wants to teach her about hunting and Kiara is interested at first but loses interest and wanders off to chase a butterfly. Meanwhile the foals her mother was hunting get away because of a nearby stallion named Spirit. They fight and Kiara’s mother is knocked to the ground and Spirit crushes her. - Kiara jumps on a rock to catch the butterfly but misses. She then sees something in the distance and sees her mother on the ground. She worriedly runs over to her and starts to cry when she realizes that she’s dead. Spirit on the other hand is shocked to see Kiara at her side. Instantaneously he feels regret but soon gets distracted by his herd as they celebrate. Kiara just turns to see them rejoicing and keeps crying. - ( a few days later ) Spirit is reminded of that day and stares up to the sky. Though in the distance he spots a familiar face watching him from the grass. It’s Kiara. Spirit hesitates at first and calls over his mother, Esperanza. He tells her he’s going to take her in ( because he wants to atone for his crime and he feels bad ) but Esperanza stops him and tells him that won’t be good and he’ll end up dead. But Spirit goes on without her consent and talks to Kiara. - Kiara has been following around Spirits herd because she’s young, defenseless and has no where to go. ( she also doesn’t know Spirit killed her mother ) She jumps back when Spirit approaches her but he reassures her that everything is alright. She still doesn’t trust him and she flinches and closes her eyes, assuming he’ll hurt he. But he doesn’t and he tells her to come with him. She does so and goes over to Esperanza who smiles warmly at Kiara ( let’s just say she changed her mind about the situation ) The horses also welcome Kiara in and she sees them in a new perspective and smiles - Spirit is happy everyone is getting along when suddenly a couple hunters. ( let’s just also say Kiara is a mountain lion instead of a lion and they’re hunting mountain lions/stallions and they’re rare ) Spirit tells his herd to run, they hesitate but do so but Kiara doesn’t right away. But when she sees them, the hunters take up chase after her and chase her into a canyon where she’s stuck in a corner. Spirit goes after them and soon finds himself caught.
