With Boruto Part 1 planning to end after Boruto episode 293, Boruto part 2 is stated to be in the works. Part 1 is ending with Borushiki awakening where Kawaki does fight him. With the Code Arc adaptation being adapted into the Boruto anime, the anime is planning to go on hiatus very soon. This will allow the anime to take a break, step back, and plan for the rest of this series.
