1945 Relic(t)s of the Luftwaffe

This US amateur footage was filmed on a German field in April 1945. The field was closer to the “Autobahn“. The German highways were used as fortune airfield by the Luftwaffe in the last days of the war. The clip includes shots of the rare experimental rocket powered fighter Me-163 Komet (the relicts of two of them are visible). Not to mention the GIs squad, looking like actors of a Quentin Tarantino’s film...! We are calling “Fair Use“ for the musical soundtrack (Demo Only) added in 2010 by ROMANO-ARCHIVES.
