In this lesson, we’ll have a look at modal verbs or modal auxiliary verbs.
You’ll learn the rules and the meaning of each of the core modal verbs.
Modal verbs express a speaker’s attitude towards an action indicated by a main verb. In other words, the modal verbs help us express ability, necessity, obligation, duty, request, permission, advice, probability, etc.
