90’’ wheel lathe built 1912

Steam locomotive wheels being turned on a 90“ wheel lathe built in 1912 for Leigh Coal and Navigation. The lathe now uses Mimik tracers (1960’s technology) that was installed around 2009/2010. The wheel set is around 50“ in diameter and is spinning around 13 rmp.
