Moss mimic stick insect from Ecuador

This moss mimic walking stick of the genus Trychopeplus was filmed at Finca Palmonte near Baños in Ecuador. During daytime it hangs on moss covered twigs, where it is nearly imperceptible and only becomes active at night to feed on leaves. It not only looks like moss but even moves like it was waving in the wind. Here are two nymphs of the same species:
