SpaceX Is Revving Up The Construction Of Its Starship Gigafactory (Starfactory)! SpaceX’s Starship Factory is being upgraded in order to boost production to one Starship every 72 hours. This would result in an annual production increase of more than 100. Could this be possible? And why Elon Musk is building a Starship Gigafactory? Let’s all find out in today’s episode. Hey folks! Welcome back to Elon Musk Evolution, where we bring you the most recent news about Elon Musk and his multibillion-dollar companies, space news, and the latest science and technology. At the SpaceX testing facility in Starbase, Texas, work is now underway to build the Starship Gigafactory, as it is currently known. SpaceX is launching an ambitious plan to mass-produce Starship rockets. This program, which aims to produce one Starship rocket every 72 hours, is a major divergence from the conventional aerospace industry processes. Gwen Shotwell, president of SpaceX, has set this ambitious goal. SpaceX intends to use cutting-edge manufacturing methods developed at Tesla’s gigafactories in order to accomplish this grandiose target. These strategies have worked well in the car industry, and SpaceX is betting the aerospace industry that they will work just as well there. It moves much more slowly in the traditional aerospace business. To put it simply, the closest rocket to Starship, NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS), can only build one rocket annually at a cost of about $4 billion each. A major change in the industry’s production rules may be seen in SpaceX’s goal to produce one rocket every 72 hours. Ms. Leuders presented at an event hosted by the Brownsville Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Office of Space Commerce at the Brownsville Event Center in Brownsville, Texas. She discussed a variety of topics, including SpaceX’s future plans for launching Starships, the funding it used to establish its base in Boca Chica, Texas, and the growth of its facilities. The engines that power SpaceX’s Starship rockets are transported from the company’s California facility, while the rockets themselves are manufactured in Boca Chica. Leuders stated that ’ major construction work is being done at the site. She stated: “Anybody that’s been at Starbase, they understand we’re in the middle of a major construction activity. I mean we have a million square foot factory coming online and being built right now. We have additional homes being built in the village that we have coming online. We have all of our utilities, we kind of [inaudible] little bit backward, we built a bunch of stuff and then we built our utilities and so that didn’t necessarily make that the easiest job in the world. But we’re working on that too right now.” _ Join this channel to get access to perks: #elonmusk #spacex #starfactory #starship #starshiplaunch #spacexlaunch _ Hope you guys enjoy this! 👉 If you enjoy this video, please like it and share it. 👉 Don’t forget to subscribe to this channel for more updates.
