Ingredients:
🔹Flour 200 g (7 oz)
🔹Sugar 140 g (4.9 oz)
🔹Vanilla sugar 10 g ( oz)
🔹2 eggs
🔹Vegetable oil 120 g (4.2 oz)
🔹Milk 130 g ( oz)
🔹Lemon juice 40 g (1.4 oz)
🔹Zest of 1 lemon
🔹Baking powder 1 teaspoon
🔹Salt pinch
🔹A pinch of turmeric, if desired
For the glaze:
🔹Lemon juice 30 g (1 ounce)
🔹Icing sugar 100 g (if you want a thicker glaze want, add more powdered sugar or less lemon juice) (3.5 oz)
Preparation:
🔹Put the sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs in a bowl. Mix everything together.
🔹Add oil and salt and mix.
🔹Add soft butter and mix again.
🔹Add warm milk, lemon zest, lemon juice and turmeric (if desired). Stir.
🔹Mix the flour with the baking powder and knead the dough little by little.
🔹Put the dough in a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
🔹Bake in a preheated 180℃ (356℉) oven for 45-50 minutes. Let cool.
🔹For the glaze, mix the lemon juice with the powdered sugar.
🔹Drizzle the cooled cake with it and enjoy.
