When the rescue team arrived, they found Angelo emaciated, anemic, and in visible distress. Ahmed Zaki, a compassionate veterinarian, knew that immediate intervention was crucial. He conducted a blood test, ultrasound, and X-ray for the dog. The dire condition inside Angelo’s stomach was revealed. Surgery was the only option to save his life. The procedure was successful, but Angelo emerged from it weaker than ever. He couldn’t move, couldn’t eat, and couldn’t even wag his tail. The team feared the worst.
