Dipped

Dipped is a series of bowls, based on the traditional slip casting technique. However, for this project I inverted the technique of slip casting (I used a positive instead of a negative mold). Therefore the final result has some very distinct details, such as the skin-like texture on the outside, that can only be achieved with this technique. The series of bowls is controlled by the release of slip clay during each dipping, therefore each bowl gets a bit smaller than the one before. Enjoy the video!
