NATURE AQUARIUM GALLERY FACTS Built-in 1994, the Aqua Design Amano headquarters in Niigata, Japan is a very special place. This is where Mr. Takashi Amano has opened the Nature Aquarium Gallery for the public in 2003. Hosting 40 planted tanks (4 of which were created by Mr. Amano himself) and 54 different layouts with plants - it radiates inspiration and power. The standard tanks sizes vary from 10 liters ( gal) through 60P, 120P and finally 180P (650 liters or 171 gal, 180x60x60cm) planted tanks, with some 180x120x60 cm (70.8 x 47.2 x 23.6 in) rectangular-base tanks.
