SS marschiert in Feindesland | Teufelslied [Lyrics]

Teufelslied or SS marschiert in Feindesland was a marching song used during WWII by Waffen-SS, the paramilitary forces of Nazi Germany. This song has more versions in different languages coming from countries that were either occupied (by) or allies (of) Nazi Germany, e.g. “Zem Mūsu Kājām“ which is the Latvian version of Teufelslied. English Lyrics: SS marches in the enemy’s land And sings a devil’s song A rifleman stands on Volga bank And softly he hums along We whistle high and low And the whole world Can curse us or praise us Just as it pleases Where we are, we always move forward And the devil he laughs just like this: Ha ha ha ha ha ha! We’re fighting for Deutschland We’re fighting for Hitler And the reds get no rest We have fought in many a battle In north, south, east and west And now we stand ready to fight Against the red plague SS will not rest, we will destroy Till no one disturbs Germany’s happiness And though the ranks may thin For us there is never a retreat Where we are, we always move forward And the devil he laughs just like this: Ha ha ha ha ha ha! We’re fighting for Deutschland We’re fighting for Hitler The reds get no rest Tags: ss marschiert in feindesland ss marschiert ss marching song teufelslied WWII marching songs schutzstaffel songs WWII songs German WWII March german songs german military songs
