Israeli Helicopter may have hit Israelis at October 7 music festival - Reports

An investigation into the 7 October Hamas attack on Israel found that an Israeli army helicopter, that arrived on the scene of the Nova music festival that was targeted, was potentially responsible for at least some of the deaths of Israelis, as the helicopter “hit festival goers” as well as Hamas operatives, Israel’s Haaretz newspaper reported on Saturday. Investigators said that the target for Hamas’ attack seemed to be a Kibbutz, but changed plans once the festival was discovered. Israeli Police have reportedly since issued a statement reacting and denouncing the Haaretz report that an IDF helicopter that arrived at the site of the Supernova festival near Re’im on October 7 may have killed some Israeli civilians. Hamas’ spokesman in Beirut, Osama Hamdan, announced on Sunday that the Israeli military helicopter likely killed some Israeli festival goers. Adding that Hamas’ fighters did not have weapons capable of causing the damage that burnt cars and bodies at the festival Subscribe to our channel: Subscribe to MEE Telegram channel to stay up to date: Middle East Eye Website: Follow us on TikTok: @middleeasteye Follow us on Instagram: Like us on Facebook: Follow us on Twitter:
