K-pop: How do you become a K-pop star like BTS or Blackpink? | Newsround in South Korea Special

K-pop is a multi-billion pound music industry. People from all over the world dream of becoming ’Korean pop’ stars but perhaps nowhere else more than South Korea. K-pop artists are among the most successful in the music industry. This summer BTS released their video for ’Dynamite’ and smashed YouTube records for the most views in 24 hours and Blackpink have announced their own documentary series Blackpink: Light Up The Sky. De’Graft has been to South Korea to find out more about K-pop, why it’s so big and why it’s so popular. We meet iKON, a successful group in South Korea, to find out more about how people become stars in the industry.
