Franz Tunder was one of the main composers of the North German organ school. This praeludium is a fine proof of that. Although compact, it has all the ingredients: starting with a short scale, some hefty chords, a fugue on an uncomplicated theme, and a short coda with a lot of semiquavers. Stylus phantasticus all around, so I took some freedoms regarding tempo changes and ornamentations.
