Turkish President Erdogan Calls For Jihad. Muslim Countries Should Unite Against Israel.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s recent statements in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, underscored his steadfast criticism of Israel and the Western stance in the midst of the persistent and distressing Palestine-Israel conflict. Speaking passionately at a public event, the Turkish leader took a firm stand, imploring the Muslim world to unite and actively intervene to bring an end to the escalating violence and loss of life in Gaza. Expressing his deep concern over the unfolding humanitarian crisis, President Erdoğan questioned the international community’s silence in the face of the ongoing bloodshed. His poignant inquiry, “When will Muslims raise their voice, if not now?“ echoed a call to action, emphasising the urgency for solidarity and intervention from the Muslim nations. Erdoğan didn’t just criticize what’s happening right now; he also said he doesn’t like how Israel and the West are handling things in general. He wanted not only the people in Turkey but also all Muslims to come together and stand against what he sees as a big unfairness that needs fixing right away. The president pointed out what he sees as a double standard in how the world reacts to different situations. He specifically recalled a meeting in 2015 where world leaders came together after the attack on the French publication Charlie Hebdo, where 25 lives were lost. According to him, there was a quick and strong response to that incident. However, he criticized the same world leaders for their silence when it came to the loss of thousands of lives in Gaza, suggesting that the severity of their response seemed inconsistent and hypocritical.
