Budget Chicken Chop Suey - Just 30 Minutes and Better Than Takeout

Hey guys! In this video, we’ll be making up some budget-friendly chicken chop suey that you can make in just 30 minutes. Not only is this recipe quick and easy, but it’s also better than takeout and won’t break the bank. First, we’ll start by sautéing some garlic and onion in a large skillet or wok. Then we’ll add in our thinly sliced chicken breast and let it cook until it’s no longer pink. Next, we’ll add in a variety of veggies such as peas, celery, and carrots, which will add a ton of flavour and colour to the dish. To create the sauce, we’ll mix together some soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch to thicken it up. We pour the sauce over our chicken and veggies and let it simmer for a few minutes until everything is coated and heated through. Finally, we’ll serve our chicken chop suey and place it over a bed of steamed rice. This recipe is perfect for those who are short on time and want to make a delicious and healthy meal at home. Plus, it’s budget-friendly and customizable, so you can swap out the veggies or protein to your liking.
