The Who live in Cincinnati [12-3-1979] - Full Show

’’Tragedies are all we can remember’’ Good night and welcome to ’TheWhoDunnit’. Here you’ll be able to take a listen to the works of The Who live! For my first upload I have chosen a quite famous show, for a good and a bad reason. The good is: It rocks, the bad: People actually died At December 3rd, 1979, 11 Who fans were stepped by the people who broke into the stadium in a rush to get some seats, many drugged, many drunk, they just ran into the stadium. Apparently, there weren’t enough doors, so there were more people than entrances, causing a major turmoil outside the stadium. The band continued on playing, not aware of the riot outside, truly, a major tragedy. The laws concerning rock bands playing on huge stadiums were reviewed, even though, I believe, The Who wasn’t banished from Cincinnati, it wasn’t actually their fault, even though many parents chose to blame them, causing shows getting cancelled and a bad reputation to The Who Of course, as I
