Peter Jackson’s new First World War film

Peter Jackson has reinterpreted IWM’s original, archive footage to create a new film that he says is “not the usual film that you would expect on the First World War”. “It’s the faces, it’s the people that come to life in this film…the human beings that were actually there”. The film has been co-commissioned by IWM and 14-18 Now and will be shared with audiences across the UK through a series of screenings and an extensive learning programme.
