Despite releasing in 2013, Grand Theft Auto V has become Rockstar’s Skyrim, being endlessly repackaged or remastered for every platform, even PS5 (to the annoyance of fans, I know). The PC release was 6 years ago this week, and this inspired my friends and me to explore this question: How many cops, criminals and private contractors die in the course of GTA V? Even if you try like a paragon to avoid gunning bystanders or optional targets, what’s the minimal body count necessary to complete Michael, Franklin and Trevor’s journey? We checked and… it’s not really that high, for a game about warring on cops, criminals and corrupt contractors. Here are some numbers… Michael De Santa: 172 kills Franklin Clinton: 295 kills Trevor Philips: 258 kills M, F and T killing Devin Weston by pushing him off a cliff: 1 kill So, their total body count is 726.
