Snapping Turtle laying eggs in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec

This is footage I (Ryan Young) filmed over a period of a couple hours of a large Snapping Turtle (Tortue serpentine) laying eggs in the sandy shoulder of the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue bike path near McGill University’s Morgan Arboretum. Thanks goes out to Daniel Oyama for alerting me to its presence.
