Jean-Daniel Pollet - Contretemps (1990) Eng Sub

Jean-Daniel Pollet has gathered in this collage extracts from some of his previous films as well as a report by Jean Baronnet. Two writers Philippe Sollers and Julia Kristeva engage in reflections on time, work, light and cinema. ’’This film started from the intuition that there is a red thread linking together six films shot by J.D. Pollet, and that they can virtually form between them a new film, with channels (voices), with multiple themes, but whose main melodic line is already there, even if new images obviously have to be shot.’’
