Japan PM eats Fukushima fish to prove its safe

Amid a wave of criticism from fishermen, China, and water-lovers everywhere, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and many of his cabinet members ate prime Fukushima sashimi to prove that dumping radioactive water in the area is perfectly safe. Kishida ate sea bass, flounder and octopus caught near the stricken nuclear plant, accompanied by Fukushima rice, to ‘inform people both at home and abroad’ that Fukushima fish is fresh and safe to eat, owing to the filtration system removing all radionuclides. Apart from all the radioactive tritium, which cannot currently be removed.
