Visit Visit our website The film “Maps for a Changing World“ is a revised edition of a film called “The Airplane Changes the World Map“. It was made by Encyclopaedia Britannica Films in collaboration with George T. Renner, JR, Ph.D. Columbia University in 1959. It is to be an educational/argumentative film to demonstrate how airplanes changed world maps.
