Restored Lockheed P-38 “Glacier Girl“ UP CLOSE Video Study
This is a close-up video study of the famous Lockheed P-38 “Glacier Girl“ that was recovered from under 268 feet of glacier ice in Greenland in 1992. Most of the video was taken at the Planes of Fame Museum in Chino, Calif. in March and April, 2007. The take-off sequence was taken at Palm Springs, Calif in 2005. The sound of this aircraft is TOTALLY unique from all other warbirds!
If you’d like, also check out my other warbird videos. Thanks!
