This is one of the very few unofficial films from East Berlin. Most existing shootings before the German reunification are propaganda films from the government of the time (Erich Honecker) . In 1987/88 I was booked during 4 months as a performer (juggler) in East-Berlin at the famous music-hall of East-Germany and USSR, the “Friedrichstadt-Palast“. It was forbidden to photograph or to film in East-Berlin but me as a “west-performer“ I had some “liberties“. I owned a good video camera for that time and I filmed around in East-Berlin.
