Review: Continental Clarion Trumpet, by Conn; 1920’s-40’s

A rather rare horn from the 1920’s; the Continental Clarion by Conn or one of their subsidiaries. It’s a stencil horn and many of these have been used for parts by Conn users and repairman. Not a top line horn but this one certainly yields a very nice tone. The ’Peashooter’ style, called because of the very long looking, thin wrap used in this style, was quite popular in the time this was made.
