Alessandro Scarlatti - Fugue f minor IAS 150 - synthesizer + digital piano
Another ancient-sounding fugue reminiscent of the Renaissance or early Baroque, in a similar vein as Bach’s Canzona BWV 588 or Händel’s fugue HWV 609. And the term/ genre Ricercar also springs to mind, especially with its meanings of exploring the possibilities of a theme and using long notes, in this case slow meditative forms.
Finally, the synthesizer is used merely as sound module. In other words, it’s good old “live playing“.
