Over 21,000 relics recovered from ancient Chinese ship

Archaeologists recovered over 21,000 relics from Nanhai No. 1, a Song Dynasty (1127-1279) cargo ship that sank in the South China Sea 800 years ago. Hoards of porcelain, silver, gold, lacquer and wooden relics were recovered, as well as over 17,000 copper coins and the remains of 2,600 animal and plant specimens.
