Maron Performer: Gabriel Angelo Guitar Maron’s piece was released on the album Entre Amigos, listen to the full album at this link: About the piece: It is called Estudo nº7 (Frevo), which also arises from his research and experimentation with Brazilian popular rhythms, in this case a typical rhythm of the northeast region of Brazil, the frevo, being the first of the genre composed by the composer. In his words, this piece was also heavily influenced by the sonatas of the baroque composer called Domenico Scarlatti, with regard to modulations, harmonic and motivic treatments.
