Mary Swan - My Heart Belongs to Only You (1958)

A great version of one of my favorite songs. Did not chart nationally, but released as a single around October 1958. Originally recorded by Bette McLaurin in 1952. Ella Fitzgerald and June Christy rushed out versions to compete and June’s charted at #27 on the Cash Box singles chart in February 1953 (I have this version posted also). Later, this song charted at #65 for Jackie Wilson in October 1961 and #9 for Bobby Vinton in February 1964 (#2 Adult Contemporary). Written by Dorothy Daniels and Frank Dani
