Harrowing footage shows aftermath of huge explosion after Learjet 35A crashed killing all on board

An investigation is underway after a small plane crashed in a residential area near El Cajon, San Diego County, California, downing power lines and leaving no survivors on board, authorities and local media said. According to NBC, first responders were called to the scene around El Cajon, at least 15 miles east of San Diego, at around 7 p.m. local time (0300GMT Tuesday), the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement. Firefighters were not able to locate any survivors, the department said in the news release without specifying how many victims were found on board. No injuries on the ground were confirmed, the San Diego County Sheriff Department said on its official Twitter account.
