Anthony Michael Hall compares ’The Class’ to ’The Breakfast Club’
Anthony Michael Hall joins Yahoo Entertainment’s Ethan Alter for a deep-dive into his new film, “The Class,“ and comparisons to 1985’s “The Breakfast Club.“ Hall says “The Class“ speaks to the present day instead of dwelling on the past, “I think the film is very modern and very current in the themes and ideas that are addressed. It’s very cool to do something that we hope a young millennial generation will respect and appreciate.“
Hall admits that some themes from director John Hughes’ ’80s teen movies did not age well but “in the spirit of the macro, I don’t think it was ever John’s intention to be offensive to people.“
