In 1995 the new black-and-white movie “Dead Man“ by Jim Jarmusch was released.
It included Johnny Depp, starring as the protagonist William Blake, and Neil Young, who composed the soundtrack.
Mostly improvised, Young’s music contributed to enhance the brooding and surreal atmosphere of the film, which led the director himself to define his work as a “Psychedelic Western“.
