However it starts to move and she has to swing the bottle quickly to hit it. M/S as it sails down into the river Clyde. M/S as she lays the first keel plate for the next ship, it is swung across on a crane. Various shots as men start work on it. Intertitle - ’Cockayne Hatley’ (Bedfordshire) - L/S of people standing on a platform in front of a large building, crowds watch them. M/S as the Duchess of Montrose opens the building which is Bedford’s latest apple store, and goes inside. The big doors are opened, various shots of the interior and storage space. Various shots as they inspect the orchards. M/S of the apples on the trees. M/S of people picking them and putting them in big baskets. M/S of the visitors holding smaller baskets of apples.
