Private Room on Japan’s Sleeper Train 😴 Transforming from Bunk Bed to Seat 🛏💺 寝台特急サンライズ瀬戸 シングルツイン

Sunrise Express Izumo & Seto (寝台特急サンライズ出雲瀬戸号) is Japan’s only overnight sleeper train which runs everyday. This time, I traveled from Takamatsu Station to Tokyo Station (高松→東京) on a private room with a bunk bed called “Single Twin” (B寝台個室シングルツイン). It’s a 800km (500 miles) trip that takes about 10 hours. The train was delayed that day so I could take the bullet train (Shinkansen 新幹線) as well as the sleeper train at no extra charge. It’s expensive to stay at Single Twin alone, so I recommend you try it with your friend or partner.
