Game & Watch: Zelda (1989 Nintendo)

Emulation: MAME Game Artwork: Hydef (Also playable on Game & Watch Gallery 4) Link has to save Zelda by gathering all 8 pieces of the triforce. He must defeat the Goblin while avoiding the attacks of the Stalfos from beneath. Taking a hit from an enemy will deplete Link’s HP by 1. If Link loses all his HP, he will be unable to fight and the game ends. (If you have a water of life in possession, it will automatically be used.) Defeating the Goblin will make 1 or 2 staircases appear. Taking a staircase will advance you to the next floor. After advancing to the top floor you will encounter a dragon, who spits fire and swings his tail to attack you. The best way to defeat it is to have a tomahawk. If you defeat him, you will earn a piece of the triforce. Collecting 8 pieces frees Zelda and you get the Ending. Pressing attack begins a new quest, where you have to do everything all over again. There is also a continue button. (Like Gold Cliff, it lets you start off from where you last died.)
