Francisco Tárrega - Recuerdos de la Alhambra (by guitarist Emrah Koçak)

Recorded at studio Müzikalite, Istanbul, October 15, 2021 Francisco Tárrega’s Recuerdos de la Alhambra (Memories of the Alhambra) was composed in 1896 in Málaga. It uses the classical guitar tremolo technique and has become one of the most famous works in the repertoire of classical guitar music. Guitarist Emrah Koçak’s interpretation of “Recuerdos de la Alhambra“ is performed in an unexpected and unique interpretation, in E minor without tremolos. Francisco de Asís Tárrega y Eixea (21 November 1852 – 15 December 1909) was a Spanish composer and classical guitarist of the Romantic period.
