The Life and Music of Harry Belafonte: A Tribute Concert, directed by professor Larry Watson, is the culmination of a three-day celebration that includes a teach-in for the Berklee community on March 5. The teach-in will be a forum for the discussion of Belafonte’s groundbreaking legacy in the areas of music, film, the civil rights movement, and human rights advocacy, and an examination of music’s impact on social change.
